Statement of Work (SOW) Attachment 2 O2 Sensor Replacements on All Boilers 1.0) Introduction:

After GMS previously tested and attempted to provide calibration of all of SSA boilers. It was found that all of SSA boilers o2 Sensors were unresponsive and that they could not be calibrated and all required replacement. 02 sensors are installed in the flue pipe of a boiler to take an oxygen to fuel burn ratio reading, that reading is used to operate the controller which adjusts fuel to air mix for the flame on the boiler. With these sensors not operating properly we cannot adjust fuel to air ratios to the proper levels to get a clean burn. This causes low fuel efficiency and poor combustion, which also causes a higher carbon output then desired.
