About this file
This is Addendum No. 1 to an Invitation to Bid issued by the City of Albany, Georgia, for Landscaping Services (Bid Ref. #27-004), with a bid opening scheduled for August 10, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. The addendum modifies the mowing schedule, reducing the total number of cuts from 38 to 33 by implementing one cut per month in October and November instead of bi-weekly service, while maintaining weekly cuts from March 1 through September 30 and three on-call cuts during December through February. The contract term was revised from a one-year agreement with four renewal options to a one-year agreement with two renewal options, consistent with O.C.G.A. 36-60-13 requirements for multi-year purchases. Additionally, the addendum designates Anthony Trice as the new project manager and point of contact for photographic documentation and inspection cycles, replacing David Watson.
The addendum also updates administrative procedures by directing contractors to submit invoices to the Facilities Management Office at Lily Pond Road, Albany, Georgia 31707, with email submission required to COA-FacMgmtacctspayable@albanyga.gov and referencing the corrected bid number 27-004. A clarification was provided regarding the Riverwalk area boundaries, with a commitment to conduct a site visit after the pre-bid meeting to establish reference points for the mowing area. All potential bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on the bid form at submission.
