About this file

The document is a technical specifications file for the Goodland Pump Station Improvements project issued by Collier County Public Utilities in Florida. The project involves comprehensive upgrades to an existing pump station, including demolition and replacement of a concrete ground storage tank, replacement of turbine pumps and associated piping, installation of new chemical storage and feed systems, and various structural and infrastructure improvements. The project encompasses multiple technical divisions including general requirements, equipment, mechanical systems, electrical systems, earthwork, exterior improvements, and utilities. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 17, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., with sealed bids to be received by October 17, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. local time.

The technical specifications outline detailed requirements for materials, installation methods, testing protocols, and performance standards across various system components. The project includes specific provisions for equipment such as vertical turbine pumps, chemical feed systems, generator improvements, and mechanical/electrical upgrades. Bidders must register on the Collier County Procurement portal to access complete project documentation. The specifications emphasize compliance with national standards, including NSF, AWWA, and NFPA requirements, and include comprehensive guidelines for surface preparation, coating, installation, testing, and quality control. The project appears to be funded through Collier County's public utilities infrastructure improvement program, with a focus on enhancing water treatment and distribution capabilities.
