Notes:

Bid Form, or eliminate items of work entirely as may be in the best interest of the Town without penalty.
2. Bidders are advised to evenly distribute costs for overhead, project administration and contract items without direct payment in case the Town adjusts quantities or eliminates bid items in their entirety. There shall be no adjustment to bid unit and lump sum prices due to changes in the scope of work as defined herein.
3. Bidders are advised that the assumed quantities listed in the Bid Form for the duration of the contract have been estimated as accurately as possible. If the Town determines that unit prices for individual contract items appear to be intentionally set significantly higher or lower than reasonable standard industry costs for similar work, creating an unbalanced bid, the Town may reject the entire Bid or negotiate new prices for the identified items with the Contractor prior to award of the Contract. Therefore, bidders are strongly discouraged from submitting an unbalanced bid.
4. Refer to the Measurement and Payment section in the technical specifications for each bid item for additional information. Only items listed above and the Measurement and Payment sections are included in the Contract, specifications for other items are only provided in the event they are required and added to the Contract at a future date by Change Orders.
5. Payment will be based on unit prices listed in the Bid Form submitted by the Contractor multiplied by the actual quantity of work completed and accepted. In the event the total cost listed for a contract item is not equal to the quantity shown multiplied by the bid unit price, the bid unit price listed will govern.
