About this file
This document is an Addendum No. 1 for the Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Pittsylvania County Schools in Virginia for the HVAC and Window Replacement project at the Union Hall Elementary School. It provides clarification and additional details on the scope of work, including that the base bid will require ceiling replacement only in certain areas, while an alternate bid will cover the cost of replacing all ceilings. The addendum also addresses a question regarding the hardware set for door B100 and a boiler substitution request. The overall project involves a complete overhaul of the school's HVAC equipment and the replacement of all windows, with a targeted substantial completion date of July 31, 2026.
The RFP does not specify any set-aside designations, restrictions on bidder types, or the total award value or budget range for the project. It also does not mention any incumbent vendors or current contractors, or any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. Bidders must submit their proposals by 2:00 PM on June 10, 2024, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, who will be required to provide performance and payment bonds.
