Verify OA flow remains essentially constant and record results.

• VAV Box Testing: Manually adjust the thermostat for each VAV box and check that the box responds as expected. Ensure the heater energizes at minimum flow to prevent overcooling the space. Check the associated thermostat temperature reading against a calibrated temperature sensor.

• Secondary Drain Pan Float Switch: Manually trip the secondary drain pan float switch and observe the unit shut down and trigger an alarm on the control system.

• HVAC Emergency Shutdown Switch: Ensure initiating the switch causes the OA unit to shut down, the OA damper to close, and all exhaust fans to shut down within 30 seconds. Observe pilot lights function as expected.

• Chilled Water (CHW) Coil Testing: Place a load on the system by manually energizing the VAV box heaters. Observe the VFD modulate and the CHW control valve modulate to maintain coil leaving air setpoint. Vary the setpoint and observe the valve actuating in the field. Take manual Supply Air Temperature (SAT) readings and compare them to the DDC system readings.

• Sensor Testing: Take manual parameter readings at all control sensors and compare them to DDC system readings. Testing will include temperature, pressure, differential pressure, humidity, and flow. Calibrate the VAV box flow readings during TAB.

• Smoke Detector Testing: Initiate alarm on unit smoke detectors using artificial smoke. Verify that the HVAC units shut down and the alarm initiates on the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP).

E. FIRE SUPPRESSION
