At Acquisition Sciences, Ltd. (ASL), the foundation of our success lies in the education, training, and continuous development of our team. We pride ourselves on being a diverse and highly skilled group of professionals, each of whom is committed to providing the most knowledgeable, professional service to our clients. Ongoing education is a core value at ASL, and we ensure our team members are well-versed in federal and state procedures, as well as industry-specific guidelines to meet the needs of every project.

Annual Training and Professional Development:

ASL provides our staff training through in-house training courses, as well as continued education opportunities, mandated by the state every two years for twenty-five to thirty hours, from respected real estate schools across Arizona. Professional education courses are also made available through condemnation seminars, ADOT required courses and various professional courses (i.e. IRWA/Appraisal/Survey). Mentoring by management and senior staff is a critical component of the training process. These resources ensure that each team member is thoroughly trained in the latest acquisition and relocation processes, as well as the technical tools and software necessary to manage right-of-way projects effectively. Additionally, every agent is proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as various web-based right-of-way tracking systems. ASL provides a wealth of training from the numerous experienced project managers, senior agents and our Director of Technical Support.

One-on-One Manager Training on Federal and State Procedures:

A unique aspect of ASL’s training program is the individualized, one-on-one training each team member receives with their manager. This personalized coaching focuses specifically on the federal and state procedures and guidelines for each agency with which we work, including the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), the City of Phoenix, the City of Tucson, Pima County, and other local agencies. This training is tailored to ensure that every agent understands the intricacies of the applicable regulations, policies, and procedures necessary to successfully navigate each project and work efficiently with the relevant authorities.

Quality Control and Document Preparation:

At ASL, we emphasize the importance of precision and accountability in every phase of the acquisition and relocation process. Our team is trained to prepare documents for quality control and ensure they meet the stringent standards required for approval and authorization to proceed.

This includes thorough review processes to ensure compliance with agency-specific guidelines and regulatory requirements. By upholding high-quality standards, ASL ensures that all documentation is accurately prepared and submitted in accordance with the specific approval processes of the relevant agencies.

Commitment to Community Education and Partnership:

In addition to internal training, ASL actively partners with various organizations to educate the community about the acquisition and relocation process. We believe in transparency and open communication, ensuring that the public is informed about the processes involved and the rights of property owners and tenants. By engaging with local communities, ASL fosters stronger relationships and trust.

Comprehensive Training on Key Topics:

ASL ensures that all team members receive training on essential topics such as Fair Housing, Cyber Security, Supervisory and Management Skills, Harassment and Diversity Awareness, and Workplace Safety. These subjects are crucial to maintaining a respectful and secure working environment while ensuring that every ASL team member is well-equipped to handle challenges as they arise in their day-to-day work.

Support for Licensure and Continuing Education Costs:

ASL is committed to helping its employees grow professionally and personally. We provide reimbursement for continuing education course fees, licensing fees, notary fees, electronic lock box access key fees and membership dues for organizations such as, the National Association of Realtors (NAR), and the Phoenix/Tucson Association of Realtors and other appropriate professional organizations. This support encourages our employees to pursue further education and certifications, helping them stay up to date on industry developments and best practices.

Encouraging Knowledge of Regulations and Advanced Licensure:

In addition to formal education, ASL encourages its employees to read and familiarize themselves with federal and state regulations. We promote a culture where employees feel comfortable seeking clarification or guidance on any regulation to ensure compliance.

Additionally, ASL encourages staff members to pursue obtaining their broker's license to expand their real estate knowledge and expertise, which in turn enhances their ability to handle complex projects.

Through these robust training initiatives, ASL ensures that every team member is equipped with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to provide exceptional service. Whether through one-on-one training sessions with managers, ongoing educational opportunities, or partnerships with industry organizations, ASL is dedicated to continuous improvement and fostering a well-rounded, highly skilled team. This commitment not only enhances our team's capabilities but also directly benefits our clients, ensuring that each project is handled with the utmost professionalism, accuracy, and efficiency.
