Question
Answer
1) What is the square meter size of each of the flooring types referenced in Section 2.1.1.1?
See amendment to solicitation S-19AS7021Q0002-A0001 in Section 2.1.1.1.
2) Section 2.1.1.7 references cleaning elevators and elevator lobbies. How many elevators (lifts) is the contractor responsible for cleaning?
See amendment to solicitation S-19AS7021Q0002-A0001 in Section 2.1.1.7.
3) How frequently do the wooden ceiling slats need to be cleaned?
See Section 2.1.5.3, which lists “dusting and wiping light fixtures and wooden ceiling slats” as a quarterly cleaning requirement.
4) Will rubbish bins be located at each desk or only in common areas?
See amendment to solicitation S-19AS7021Q0002-A0001 in Section 2.1.1.5.
5) How will the contractor deliver supplies to the service location?
See amendment to solicitation S-19AS7021Q0002-A0001 in Section 6.

7) Will we have access to the building after hours, on weekends, or on holidays?
The building is not accessible to the Contractor, without prior approval of the
Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), outside of the days and times listed in Section 2.1.
Should the Government require temporary additional services or disinfection services after hours, on weekends, or on holidays, the Government will make the place of performance available to the Contractor.
8) How often will we need to clean the bathrooms? The solicitation does not specify a particular frequency for cleaning of bathrooms except in paragraph 2.1.1.3, which states: “the Contractor shall check those areas, particularly bathrooms used by personnel visiting the consulate, several time daily to ensure that the facilities are always clean and neat.” The contract is a performance-based contract, and the Contractor’s performance is assessed by the condition of the bathrooms, not by a fixed number of times a day they are cleaned.
9) How many sanitary bins will need to be maintained?
See amendment to solicitation S-19AS7021Q002-A0001 in Section 2.1.4.4.
10) When will we need to start work? See amendment to solicitation S-19AS7021Q0002-A0001 in Section 1.
