About this file

This document is a Questions & Answers file for Solicitation #15JA0525Q00000149, addressing key inquiries about a parking garage security contract. The solicitation involves a contract with an existing incumbent (contract #15JA7525P00000029), indicating this is a recompete rather than a brand new project. The primary service requirement involves providing overnight security personnel at a parking facility, specifically staffing security from sunset to sunrise to ensure the safety of guests and vehicles. While the exact details of the security arrangement are flexible, the government requires some form of staffed security presence during the specified hours, which could potentially include dedicated on-site guards or contracted roving patrols with documented reporting.

Questions & Answers

Solicitation #15JA0525Q00000149

1. We would like to know if this is a brand new contract OR if there is (was) an incumbent performing these services. If not brand new, could you please provide the current / previous contract number?

There is an incumbent contract #15JA7525P00000029.

2. Is the solicitation a new requirement set by the government or is this a contract currently being performed that the government is renewing. If this is a renewal, do you have the contract number associated with the old contract?

3. Is there any incumbent/recompete or this is a brand-new project? If yes, could you please provide us with their award number or even if the customer bought similar services in the past.

4. Can I ask who is the vendor and the final price for the incumbent?

That information is publicly available.

5. Could you please clarify whether the requirement for an overnight security presence means a dedicated, on-site guard at the parking facility, or if an equivalent security arrangement (such as contracted roving patrols with documented reporting) would satisfy the requirement?

It entails some sort of staffed security personnel, employed by the parking garage or otherwise, be in place during sunset to sunrise at a minimum ensuring the security of parking garage guests and cars.
