Overview of Statement of Work

In August 2017 Transformer #1 and #2, and Sectionalizer #1 and #2, located at the Federal Correctional Complex, Medium Security Institution Rear Gate Area received approximately 4 foot of water due to Hurricane Harvey. As a result of this water damage, FCC Beaumont is requesting the transformers and sectionalizers be raised approximately 5 feet. New circuits will be run from the Remote Utility Building located outside the institution to the raised sectionalizers and then to adjacent sectionalizers. New circuits will also be ran from the Remote Utility Building to the raised transformers and then to the electrical rooms located in the Unicor Building electrical room and Vocational Training electrical room. All applicable terminations and testings per NEC shall be included. New galvanized metal stands will be built by BOP personnel and placed on existing concrete slabs to accommodate the transformers and sectionalizers.

Segment 2 - Site Visit The site visit was conducted and contractors were allowed to tour the institutional areas associated with the project.

Segment 3 - Closeout Ms. Payne indicated that nothing said during this meeting constitutes a change to the solicitation.

If there is a change, it will be issued as a formal amendment posted to www.fbo.gov. Interested contractors must monitor the site for updates and acknowledge each amendment issued. The meeting was concluded at approximately 10:30 am.

These minutes were recorded and submitted by Connie Brassfield, Contract Specialist. Any questions regarding the content of these minutes shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer within two calendar days. Otherwise, these minutes will stand as written.
