About this file
This file contains attachments A through I for IFB #159443 from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) for NOVA Network Communications Support Services. The attachments include forms and requirements for bidders including State Corporation Commission registration information, Small Business Subcontracting Plan, Subcontractor Approval Request, Vendor Qualification/Equipment Inventory Certification, and Proprietary/Confidential Information Summary Form.
The attachments outline specific requirements including that over 42% of purchases should be made from small businesses certified by Virginia's Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (DSBSD). Bidders must provide detailed equipment inventories, with specifications for marking owned ("O"), rented ("R"), or to-be-purchased ("P") equipment. The documents also address environmental considerations, requiring contractors to suspend certain equipment use on "code red ozone days" in specific Virginia jurisdictions from May through September. Contractors must maintain proper licensing and provide emergency contact information. Documentation requirements include references, subcontractor details, and insurance certificates that must be submitted to VDOT's Richmond office.
