About this file

This document is a set of required forms for a state and local contract opportunity solicitation issued by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). The solicitation requires bidders to complete and submit various attachments, including a Virginia State Corporation Commission (SCC) registration form, a subcontractor approval request, normal and emergency contact information, and a small business subcontracting plan. The solicitation seeks to award a contract for an unspecified scope of work, and bidders are required to identify any proposed subcontractors, including their qualifications and the type of work they will perform. The small business subcontracting plan requires bidders to outline their plans for utilizing DSBSD-certified small businesses, women-owned businesses, minority-owned businesses, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses in the performance of the contract.

The document does not provide details on pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or other salient information. The focus is on the administrative and compliance requirements for bidders to be considered responsive to the solicitation.
