About this file

This document is a First Amendment to Contract No. 14822 between the State of Washington's Department of Enterprise Services and Technology Management Solutions, a California Profit Corporation. The amendment, dated October 15, 2024, modifies an existing IT Project Management contract originally effective April 1, 2024, and includes updates mandated by Washington State Legislature.

The amendment introduces two primary modifications: first, a new pay equality provision requiring the contractor to ensure "similarly employed" individuals are compensated equally, with allowances for legitimate differentials based on factors like seniority, merit, or job-related qualifications. Second, the amendment revises the price adjustment terms, establishing that maximum hourly rates will remain fixed until October 31, 2024, with an automatic 5% increase beginning November 1, 2024, and annually thereafter for the remainder of the contract term. The contractor is prohibited from making contract extensions contingent on these price adjustments.
