In addition to the removal and installation, the contractor will provide training on the operation and maintenance of the escalators, select critical spare parts, any unique special tools needed to work on the escalator, and drawings of the installed escalators.

B. Note: Space around the escalators is limited. At night, road closures next to the escalators are possible. Due to high-voltage electrical lines, any overhead crane work with potential to reach into the clear space around the lines will require a line outage.

Line outages will be limited in duration.

C. Escalators shall be identified as “Up” and “Down”. Although both escalators shall be able to travel in either direction, the Up escalator is a normally-up travel located closest to the canyon wall and the Down escalator is a normally-down travel located closest to the river side.
