Questions and Answers

Q1: Is there any incumbent on this or this a brand new project? if yes, could you please provide with us their contract number.

A1: Yes, there is an incumbent, Sanford Federal Inc. Purchase order number is 140P8123P0035.

Q2: Is AmeriGas the current supplier? If not, who is?

A2: Sanford Federal Inc. is the current supplier (incumbent).

Q3: Can you please clarify whether these are will call orders or a keep-full service? Are all the tanks one or the other?

A3: See attached revised SOW to reflect weekly and “as needed/on call” basis. Revisions are in red font.

Q4: Will the awardee be contracted to hook up the tanks at Landfair Valley/OX Ranch, or will these two smaller tanks not be part of the contract? Will the new tanks that are going to be installed to be provided by the contractor, or is the NPS planning to purchase these tanks?

A4: (Landfair)Valley View /OX (Ranch)Cattle 2/Cima Compound (all currently not in use) are to be considered as part of the contract as they may at some point be put into use over the next 3 years. Cima

Compound is the only site with no tank currently. If a tank needs to be purchased or hooked up in the future, it will be the responsibility of NPS.

Q5: Our firm has three decades of experience in propane supply, but are located in Los Angeles, and are therefore not able to be in Mojave within two hours. Does that prevent us from being able to bid on this effort, despite a strong and decades-long relationship with our subcontractor?
