About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum for Solicitation #140P6425Q0048, Amendment #001, related to a Striping and Sealing project at Lincoln Home NHS (National Historic Site) in Springfield, Illinois. The Q&A addresses two technical questions about materials: (1) changing from acrylic to latex paint, and (2) potentially switching from emulsified asphalt sealer to coal tar-based sealer. For both questions, the government's response is affirmative, with the requirement that specific product and color submittals must be provided post-award and before work begins. The document provides a clear, structured table detailing the questions and corresponding responses, indicating flexibility in material selection while maintaining a formal approval process.
