Questions Addressed
1. How should we provide cost for the bid?
a. Please provide price per acre for the base year amount of 2,200 tons. Also, provide a separate price per acre for the quantity amount of 1,000 tons.
2. Please provide specific requirements as to how many bales vs large round bales are needed.
a. The number of small square bales per month will be approximately 150 a month. We have a hay shed that can store several hundred at a time to build up a stable quantity that will last for some time. It is difficult to estimate the number of large round bales used at the facility due to varying weights of hay bales, but the facility could feed up to 180 ton of round bales per month.
