About this file
This document is an amendment to Solicitation 140FS224Q0212 for a multimedia exhibit at the Waubay National Wildlife Refuge. The amendment provides additional details and responds to questions from potential offerors:
The exhibit will include a 55-inch wall-mounted monitor/TV with 2-3 feet of open space on either side. The Service is open to using a pre-manufactured wall-mounted kiosk enclosure. The video content must have open captions and narration to ensure accessibility. The resolution is not specified but must provide a quality visitor experience.
The original 13-month development period is flexible, and the Service is open to a more condensed 9-month schedule, with the contractor able to shorten their internal checkpoint times. The period of performance is August 2024 to November 2025. The allocated budget is not established at this time, and there is no incumbent contractor for this project.

Based on the wall kiosk requirement, what approximate dimensions should we plan for in terms of available wall and floor space?
**Monitor/TV is to be approximately 55" with a wall-mount support structure (only what is necessary for support). The monitor/TV should be mounted to provide accessibility in reach ranges.
Plan for 2-3 feet of open space on either side of it.
Would the Service consider using a pre-manufactured wall-mounted kiosk enclosure as an alternative to a custom-built enclosure?
**Yes
EXPERIENCE:
To ensure accessibility for all viewers, would the Service consider incorporating open captions instead of closed captions?
**Yes
Will all descriptive text accompanying videos and images have narration?
**The Statement of Work specifies the Contractor must ensure that all project components meet requirements of the Architectural Barriers Act and the American's with Disability Act. The video does have narration and the visitors will need to hear this.
Will the final resolution for this project be
1920x1080? We have not specified the final resolution; it must be a high-enough resolution to provide a quality experience for the visitor.
TIMELINE FOR DELIVERY:
We noticed the 13-month development period seems quite extended. Is this timeline firm, or would the Service be open to a more condensed schedule?
We typically aim for a 9-month development cycle or less, which would place delivery around June
2025 for an award in August 2024. Does a shorter timeline align with the Service's decision-making process and project needs, or are there specific factors requiring the longer timeframe?
**Yes, the Service is open to a more condensed schedule. We allow up to 13 months. The review periods for the Service, specified in the
Schedule of Checkpoints, must remain for the
Service. The Contractor may shorten their
