The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, FWS Tule Lake NWR located at 4009 Hill Road, Tule Lake CA 96134, has a requirement for a Gooseneck Wide Deck Lowboy Gravity Tilt Equipment Trailer or Approved Equal in accordance with the following Salient Characteristics/Minimum Requirements:

Salient Characteristics/Minimum Requirements:

• A ~25-ft Gooseneck trailer that distributes weight over the vehicles rear axle.

• A 102-inch wide (except between fenders)

• 17' tilt deck - balance stationary deck 17' tilt deck - balance stationary deck GVWR of ~20,000lbs

• Dual 9,000 lb direct lube 8 lug axles with electric brakes on both axles

• Heavy duty slipper spring suspension

• All wheel electric brakes on all axles

• Tire size, 17.5" ST235/75R17.5 18ply radial LRJ (6,005lbs each)

• 17.5” eight-hole silver or white mod

• 6” channel main frame

• 8” channel tongue

• 3” channel on 16” centers (cross members)

• 3” x 12” gravity operated cylinder (hydraulics

• Approximate 26” (deck height)

• Stake pockets w/ rub rail (tie downs)

• 4-hole adjustable height gooseneck coupler

• Dual 12,000-pound drop leg (spring loaded) (Jack)

• Two heavy duty safety chains

• 2” pressure treated pine (screwed down) (flooring)

• Heavy duty 14-gauge tread plate (reinforced) (fenders)

• All flush mount or recessed lifetime LED stop / turn / clearance lighting (lighting)

• U.S. made sealed modular wiring harness (wiring)

• Required break-a-way kit and conspicuity tape

• Fully primed and painted with automotive grade acrylic enamel

• 2’ heavy duty tread plate

Place of Delivery:

Deliver Trailer FOB Destination to the FWS Tule Lake NWR, 4009 Hill Road, Tule Lake CA 96134, Monday through Thursday, 7:00am to 3:00pm PDT. No later than 3 days prior to delivery, please contact the Technical Point of Contact, Dustin Taylor (dustin_taylor@fws.gov/541-891-2163) or Brandon Whiteley (brandon_whiteley@fws.gov/541-891-5202), to arrange a specific time for delivery. Unloading the product is the sole responsibility of the delivery carrier. No labor or equipment will be provided by the government to unload the supplies.
