Additional desired accessories include a full size spare tire and two additional 8-foot ramps. The trailer will be used to haul UTV-drawn field equipment and other light-duty off-road vehicles and cargo on paved roads, gravel roads, and unmaintained tracks. Delivery is required FOB destination by a certain date and time.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, FWS Sheldon-Hart Mountain NWR Complex located at 20995 Rabbit Hill Road, Lakeview OR 97630, has a requirement for a Load Trail Model DK14 Deckover Bumper Pull Equipment Trailer or Approved Equal in accordance with the following Salient Characteristics/Minimum Requirements:

Salient Characteristics/Minimum Requirements:

• Dual axle; at least 7,000# Gross Axle Weight Rating each axle

• Electronic brakes on both axles (and/or all hubs)

• GVWR: at least 14,000# preferred

• Steel chassis and framing

• Minimum Deck Length: 20 ft (22 ft preferred)

• Minimum Deck Width: 8.5 ft (102”)

• Flat deck (i.e., not beavertail design)

• Flooring: treated wood (pine, Douglas fir, or similar)

• Hitch Type: bumper pull; adjustable height

• Coupler Type: 2-5/16” ball

• Tires: radial; minimum “E” Load Rating, 10-ply (or 10-ply rated) or better

• Lighting: LED; DOT stop, tail, turn and clearance

• Harness: 7-way (RV) plug

• 8 ft slide-in ramps or longer

• 10,000# Top-Wind Drop Leg Jack, or similar

• Spare tire mount, in tongue area preferred

Additional Accessories:

• Full-size spare on a rim, sized and rated to match the trailer tires

• Two (2) additional 8 ft ramps to match those listed above (extra ramps, slide-in [or similar] storage not required for these extras)

Capabilities:

Trailer is intended to be used to haul UTV-drawn, 8 ft wide field equipment (e.g., broadcast seeder, sprayers, offroad trailers), to transport multiple ORUVs and other light-duty offroad field equipment, as well as to side-load and haul construction equipment accessories, building materials and pallets of supplies. Trailer will be used on paved surfaces (public roads) as well as on poorly maintained gravel roads and unmaintained 2-tracks. Trailer will be pulled by pickups with standard 2” receiver, such as a Ford F250 Super Duty.

1. Delivery:

Delivery is FOB Destination to FWS Sheldon-Hart Mountain NWR Complex, 20995 Rabbit Hill Road, Lakeview OR 97630. NOTE: THERE IS NO LOADING DOCK AVAILABLE AT DELIVERY

LOCATION.

No later that 3 days prior to delivery, please contact the Technical Point of Contact, Kevin Goldie (kevin_goldie@fws.gov/541-407-0706), to arrange a specific time for delivery. Office hours: M- F, 8 AM – 4 PM. Closed on all Federal holidays. Unloading the product is the sole responsibility mailto:kevin_goldie@fws.gov/541-407-0706 of the delivery carrier. No labor or equipment will be provided by the government to unload the supplies.
