Multiple-Award Task Order Contracts (MATOC)/Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for Geotechnical Engineering Services for the continental US and Hawaii in any state or US territory for the Department of Interior (DOI)

Solicitation # 140F0521R0005

Questions and Answers (4)

Will the DOI require stamped plats and signed and stamped survey books from the surveyors?

Response: Yes, the surveyor shall be required to stamp and sign documents and be licensed in the state for which the work is being done.

Can we submit an overall report that includes the wetland delineation survey, topographic survey, and the geotechnical recommendations or do you expect the wetland and topographic surveys to be submitted separately?

Response: Submit an overall report that includes the wetland delineation survey, topographic survey, and the geotechnical recommendations

By overseeing and managing construction and restoration activities do you mean the geotechnical aspects of construction management and oversight (quality assurance, construction materials testing, construction inspection) or complete construction management?

Response: The geotechnical aspects of construction management and oversight (quality assurance, construction materials testing, construction inspection)

In question #34 in Amendment 2, you confirm the Quick Data Entry Form should be included in the proposal package. It is not listed in the submission requirements. Would you prefer for us to use this as the official Cover Page, or include as Appendix E in the back of the submission?

Response: Include as Appendix E in the back of the submission

One of the key subcontractors on our team is a drilling subcontractor that is not an A-E firm, and their NAICS code is 238910. Because they are one of our key subs and will be providing the drilling services necessary for the geotechnical work specified in the solicitation, is it possible to include this drilling subcontractor in our SF330 response? That is, is it possible to submit a Section E Resume, Part II, CPARS, etc., without them being an A-E firm?

Response: It is possible, It is possible

I wanted to confirm and firm up with you that we can submit electronically instead of mailed originals and copies.

Response: Refer to solicitation - SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS AND DEADLINE

NOTICES:

I wanted a clarification on Part II for the following from the solicitation:

“SF330 Part II – General Qualifications – If a firm has branch offices, complete for each specific branch office seeking work”.

This only pertains to the prime, or are we supposed to submit a Part II for each team member?

Response: Complete for each specific branch office seeking work
