PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT
Addendum No. 1
Contractor and Government Provided Supplies Summary
1. Trash removal: Contractor shall supply trash bags for the 55 gallon containers. Government to supply 55 gallon containers.
2. Public Restrooms/Compost Toilets: Contractor shall supply all equipment and supplies for cleaning. For the bathroom contractor provided supplies and materials include, but not limited to, mops, brooms, toilet brushes, toilet paper. The regular restroom will require standard janitorial cleaning products. For the compost toilets the contractor shall provide any brand of bio-degradable cleaners to avoid killing the composting bacteria.
Compost Toilet Treatment shall be completed once a month by using a long rake (supplied by the Government) to spread the compost inside the bin. There is a lid at the front of the toilet that is listed manually, and access is grained to the bin. Because of the Caribbean conditions the composting is more effective than in cooler climates and thus there is no need to remove any of the compost from the bin. Bacteria enhancing product is added at that time about one cup. Available products are Roebic, Namco or other similar.
3. Office/Facilities – Government to supply all cleaning materials and equipment which includes: cleaning solvents/products for floors, windows, toilets, toilet brushes, paper towels, toilet paper, mops, brooms, dusters, dust pans, mop buckets, and vacuum cleaner. The facilities include a janitor closet with a sink.
