About this file

This document is an Amendment (Amendment Three, No. 0003) to a Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. 140A2325Q0096 for HVAC maintenance services at a Bureau of Indian Education facility. The amendment addresses a contractor's question about maintenance responsibilities for boilers and VAV systems, with the government confirming that these components remain part of the original Statement of Work (SOW). The SOW details quarterly preventative maintenance for air handling units, including tasks such as checking controls, inspecting equipment, cleaning coils and filters, checking refrigerant levels, and ensuring proper operation of boiler pumps.

Key additional details include extending the offer due date to Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 12:00 pm MDT, with no further extensions planned. The solicitation remains set aside for Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEE), and quotes should be emailed to charmaine.williams-james@bie.edu. The maintenance work appears to be for Building 1381, with specific requirements for comprehensive equipment checks, cleaning, and reporting of any deficiencies to the Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist before leaving the worksite.

Our representative who conducted the site visit mentioned that Alvin Hobson from maintenance stated they would handle the boilers and VAVs, while we would be responsible only for the air handlers. Since the boilers and VAVs are part of the SOW below, could you please confirm this so we can remove them from our proposal and send you the quotation as soon as possible?
