Amendment 02 to Solicitation# 1333ND23QNB680262 May 19, 2023
The purpose of this amendment is to:
a) Extend the offers due date to 10:00 AM ET on June 5, 2023,
b) Update the Statement of Work (See Attachment B Updated SOW with changes highlighted), and
c) Provide a consolidated list of questions (Q) and answers (A):
Q1. Can the Government provide photos of the two existing manlifts/work platforms?
A1. Yes, however photos will only be provided upon request. To request photos, send a request via email to nina.lin@nist.gov with Subject “1333ND23QNB680268 Photo Request.”
Q2. In the room with the smaller of the two lifts, it has old tile flooring where we would anchor down. Do you know how old this flooring is or the type of glue that was used? I’m asking because the glue that was used years ago had asbestos in it. We need to make sure this is not going to be an issue there. Drilling holes for anchors thru the flooring and stirring up dust could cause an issue the old asbestos glue was used.
A2. The floor tiles have been confirmed as Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACM). Therefore, the Government requires manlift/work platforms that can be installed without disturbing the flooring.
