About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for solicitation number 1305M225Q0212. The Q&A addresses a request for fire panel plans, with the response indicating that no comprehensive plans exist since the project involves a direct replacement of failed parts. The specific details noted include that part numbers were listed in the Statement of Work (SOW), and the only notable installation requirement is relocating a fire sensor approximately 2 feet away from an air conditioning vent to prevent false alarms caused by condensation. The response emphasizes that the ceiling area is open, and the contractor has discretion in mounting the replacement components.

Q&A

1305M225Q0212

1. We would like to request fire panel plans.

a. There aren't any plans as everything was a direct replacement of parts. The part numbers were listed on the SOW. They are simply failed parts that need to be renewed.

The only part that they may want plans for is the line where it states “relocate 2 feet".

It’s all open ceiling in that area and up to the contractor’s preference on how they mount

it. We’re just trying to get it out of the way of an air conditioning vent that blows cold air onto the fire sensor creating condensation triggering false alarms.
