Solicitation: 1282CS19Q4003 Snaggletooth IRSC Page 1 of 1 Posted with solicitation amendment 0001 on July 16, 2019.

Q1: Some of the roads accessing the project, in particular, 506 and 215 are closed due to the Doe Fire. Is that preventative, can we actually get access to do a site visit? Will there be a bid due date extension if access cannot be granted?

There is no need to extend as FSR 504 is fully open. The project can be accessed through FSR 216/506. 216 and 506 come together at FSR 504 just past Glade Lake. As of 07/16/2019 all Doe Fire closures have been lifted.

Q2: Is removal required for the project? The way I read the scope of work is units 1 and 2 require cutting, topping and piling the cut tops. Units 3 and 4 require cutting, processing, skidding, decking, and pilling generated slash.

Units 1 and 2 are straight timber sales with Removal: pay item are slash and road maintenance.

Units 3 and 4 are cut skid and deck only no removal: pay items are Cut/Skid/Deck, slash and road maintenance.

Q3: We noticed a significant amount of fire damage at the base of leave trees on units 1 and 2 as well as fresh cuts made within the units. Will paint be re-applied to the leave tree stumps?

Yes an assessment will be made and damage rectified.
