Questions & Answers

1. Is the Site Visit Mandatory to Bid? The site visit has passed, but no it was not mandatory to attend. You may still submit a proposal package.

2. Is it a public open Road to go do a Site Visit on my own? No the road is not public.

3. Does the caliche have to meet testing requirements? As indicated in the statement of work, the caliche is to be applied 8 inches high and compacted to 6 inches after the area is graded and packed. There is a requirement for the contractor to provide random depth checks of the applied caliche to show that the consistency of 6 inches of packed caliche has been met.

4. What is the liquidated damages in this job? N/A

5. Where do we turn in the bid packet? Email your proposal package to me at joseph.covarrubio@usda.gov

6. Is the bid bond percent 20%? Yes
