Responses to Questions
December 13, 2021
1. Question: Can you tell us what the difference is between line item (1) and (2)? This appears to be an average of 50‐60 cylinders a month. Is that correct?
Response: Quoted unit prices should be included with the Pricing Schedule line item that is most closely associated with the work.
Section 4.1 describes the requirement for initial cylinder supply and initial fill of CO2 (Qty:
57/EA). Section 4.2 describes the requirement for routine supply and delivery, and not to exceed quantity. The estimated gas consumption is 57 CO2 cylinders per month. See Section 4.2.1
(Amendment 0001).
2. This is industrial grade CO2, correct?
Response: See Section 4.1.1 (Amendment 0001).
3. Are any certs required? OR will a typical cert up front be sufficient?
Response: See Section 4.1.1 (Amendment 0001). The typical certification is sufficient.
4. Is there cylinder demurrage/rent (will it be rolled into unit price)
Response: See Amendment 0001 specification changes/clarifications. See also Section 3.0, Contract Type.
5. Confirm purity (industrial grade‐?)
Response: 99.5% grade or better. See Section 4.1.1 (Amendment 0001).
6. Question: Would the government accept performance of this requirement with all contractor owned versus filling government owned cylinders? Is CLIN 0001 intended to be for a purchase of 57 cylinders or just an initial fill of 57 government owned cylinders
Response: See Amendment 0001 specification changes/clarifications.
