1Could you please clarify if this procurement involves a one-time delivery of the full 550 tons, or if there's a preferred delivery schedule for multiple shipments?The USDA-ARS is requesting bids for a 1-year supply of bulk hammered sawdust (550 tons sawdust in 25-30 trailer loads containing 18-22 tons/load). In the recent past, the research station has required a load about every 12 days.
2What the hammered sawdust bedding is being used for?The sawdust is used for bedding in maternity/health barn and a bedded-pack for young heifers.
