Amendment #3 Sitka & Petersburg Marine Facilities Repair
RFP 1240BJ23R0001
As noted in Amendment #2, a Pre-bid Meeting was held on May 1, 2023 via Teams @ 09:00 Alaskan Time. In attendance were the following Forest Service Representative: Contracting Officer’s Representative David Licon, Engineer Lindy Kemp, Contract Specialist Mai Moua and Contracting Officer Janet Paul. And, one contractor: Jesse West of Rainforest Contracting.
CO Janet Paul explained that the Petersburg Item was initially advertised as an RFQ (i.e. under $250,000), however, offers received exceeded the pricing threshold. Therefore, the RFQ was cancelled, and this project was added to the Sitka RFP. Contractors may bid on one or both depending on their capability/capacity.
COR David Licon provided a summary of both Petersburg and Sitka Projects. Six questions were received. Please see next page for the questions and the Government’s response to each.
