12445521B0005 Red Bluff Campground Pre-Bid Questions & Answers

Q. Bid item “Aggregate base, MO DOT TYPE 5, 6" In Place QTY (include Shoulder), Placement Method C” – is this to include areas scheduled for asphalt paving or this this for gravel areas within each camp site only?

A. Yes this includes both areas. Except for the 3/8” minus.

Q. Group Campground: Existing conditions include a significant volume of material within the boundary of the perimeter loop drive. The grading plan and other associated plans do not clearly show existing conditions, only depicting final grading contours. See attached photo for reference. Is there a location within the project boundaries for placement of this excess material?

A. No must be hauled off site if not used on site. Line Item 20402 pertains to this question.

Q. Is the project tax exempt?

A. Yes and CO will provide the MO Form 5060 after award.

Q. Culvert extensions: The bid forms include line items for installation of culvert end sections. Is this line item to include costs for rip-rap armoring?

A. Yes if it is reflected in the drawings then it is incidental to the culvert extensions.
