Question # Question Response

The contract documents make reference to P‐219, a recycled aggregate. Should the Contractor not be able to source P‐219 aggregate, will P‐209, a virgin aggregate, be acceptable for use on this project? P‐209, virgin aggregate is acceptable.

3 What is the required slump for placement of concrete by hand and equipment? See Attachment 3, Technical Specifications Mix Design (Section P‐501, Page P‐501‐7) 4 What is the required PSI and Strength? Drawing C1‐1 states that lights need to be removed, relocated, and reinstalled. Can you provide existing lighting electrical plan? This will help us to define the complexity of the relocation. If the three lights are part of an existing circuit it would require a larger job than if they are in an isolated circuit.

There is a set of "paper" plans at the base the awardee may be able to review. For bidding purposes, assume lights are part of existing circuit system.

9 Will the contractor require badging to enter the project and execute construction?

No badging, but there will be a briefing on how they will operate while on site from the airport authority. A safety plan, along with a hurricane plan, must be submitted and approved.

Will the contractor require any permit form the City or County to execute the project? If so, can you list the permits that are required.

The Individual Environmental Resource Permit issued by the Suwannee River Water Management District on July 23, 2020. There are no other known permits required, however, The General Provisions Section 70‐02 states the contractor shall procure all permits and licenses. There will be requirements from both the Columbia County and City of Lake City.

The contractor will be required to obtained the required permits and / or licenses.

Prospective bidders will need contact the city and county offices for details. Additionally, appropriate certificate of liability will be required with the City listed as an additional insured.

12 How many days the does contractor have to complete the project after the NTP? 180 calendar days. See Block 11 of the SF 1442.
