About this file
This document provides an amendment to a solicitation for removal and reconstruction of fence damaged by the Bovee wildfire on the Bessey National Forest in Nebraska. The amendment answers questions from potential vendors regarding specifications such as acceptable fence materials, installation methods for posts and braces, and operational requirements. Dispersed camping and use of generators by contractors is permitted according to forest service rules. The reconstruction work must be completed by May 31, 2024 and is targeted at approximately 16 miles of damaged fence delineated in priority areas on an attached map. The amendment clarifies requirements but does not substantially alter the scope of services sought under solicitation number 12363N23Q4177 for wildfire fence repair work on the Bessey National Forest in Nebraska.
