A. Scope of work

Base Replace the existing steam heating system in the Greenhouse including the fin-tube radiation, unit heaters, and associated piping.

Additive Alternate Item #1: Replace the existing Greenhouse lighting system with LED lighting through all Bays of the Greenhouse. Modify the electrical system for additional electrical load of the LED lighting system and future electrical load for the HVAC renovations shown in Item #2. Replace transformer, main electrical panel, and conductors as required for new electrical load.

Additive Alternate Item #2: Remove existing HVAC system to provide inclusion of ARS 242.1m compliant HVAC system in the Headhouse.

B. Work Schedule

The contractor shall be responsible for coordinating installation work schedule with the location.

All work shall be done from 8a.m. to 5 p.m. (Monday through Friday). If it is necessary to work on a Saturday or Sunday, Contractor must obtain prior.

C. Debris and Rubbish

It is the Contractor’s responsibility to remove from the premises all debris and rubbish daily from Government property.

D. Government Responsibilities

The Government will furnish, without cost to the contractor, the necessary electrical power requirements and water needed for the project. The Government will not provide the use of tools or equipment needed to do the project. The area around the perimeter is not considered secure.

Materials or equipment left at the work site are the responsibility of the Contractor.

E. Program Management and Control Requirements

The Contractor shall provide supervision and guidance at all times when the Contractor’s employees are performing work to ensure competent and satisfactory performance. The Contractor shall allow inspections throughout project from Government staff. All work shall be completed within 120 calendar days after receipt on notice to proceed.
