About this file

The document is an Alternative Placement Sites list from Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS), featuring five community-based partner organizations that can assist contractors with student engagement requirements. These alternative placement sites include All Hands Boatworks, Arts@Large, Lead 2 Change, WRTP BIGSTEP, and Reflo Inc, all located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The document outlines that MPS contractors are responsible for contacting these eligible sites, reporting student employment performance, and negotiating site selection terms.

Milwaukee Public Schools' Department of Contract Compliance Services offers an additional option where MPS acts as the statutory employer. Under this arrangement, contractors will receive an invoice representing the required wage rate plus associated taxes equaling 15% of total wages. The Contract Compliance Services (CCS) will coordinate student placements and manage monthly Contract Compliance Reporting System (CCRS) time entries. Each listed organization provides contact information, including email addresses, websites, and phone numbers for their primary representatives, facilitating easy communication for potential contractor partnerships.

ALTERNATIVE

PLACEMENT SITES

Alternative placement sites are approved community-based partners familiar with assisting contractors with the fulfillment of student engagement requirements. MPS contractors are responsible for contacting the eligible sites listed, and must report student employment performance via its contract record. It is not expected the selected site assumes this reporting responsibility, but it is recommended the MPS contractor negotiate the terms of its conditions for the site selection
