About this file
This is an Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 106-26 issued by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) for a term contract covering traffic signal control equipment, specifically Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) controllers, cabinets, monitors, detection equipment, probe data, and related software. The contract is designed to serve ODOT's twelve districts and all 88 counties in Ohio, with potential participation by other political subdivisions through ODOT's Cooperative Purchasing Program.
The contract covers a wide range of traffic signal and control system components, including controllers from various standards (2070, NEMA, ATC), cabinets, detection systems, uninterruptible power supplies, conflict monitors, radar detection systems, and associated software licenses and maintenance agreements. The contract term is one year from the date of award, with all bid pricing to remain valid throughout the contract period. Deliveries will be Free on Board (F.O.B.) to any of ODOT's district locations, with a minimum order of $250.00. The procurement is structured as a multiple award contract, meaning multiple vendors may be awarded contracts for different groups of items. Pricing will be established through competitive bidding, with vendors required to submit detailed specifications and potentially provide product samples for evaluation.
