About this file
Attachment B is a tabulation of tank information for the 2026 Bucks County Consortium Fuel Bid, detailing fuel storage capacity across twenty-two townships, two boroughs, and eight special entities including sewer authorities, water authorities, fire companies, and municipal authorities throughout Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The consortium seeks to procure approximately 673,000 gallons of unleaded regular gasoline, 116,000 gallons of unleaded premium gasoline, 68,700 gallons of #2 heating oil/diesel fuel, 368,500 gallons of ultra low sulfur diesel, 30,200 gallons of off-road low sulfur diesel, and 40,673 gallons of propane. Electronic sealed bids must be submitted via the PennBid System by 10:00 AM on Friday, June 12, 2026, with public opening and reading to occur at the Lower Makefield Township Administration Building located at 1100 Edgewood Road, Yardley, Pennsylvania 19067. The attachment documents fuel tank locations, capacities measured in gallons, fuel types (gasoline, diesel, heating oil, propane, and generator fuel), and primary and alternate delivery contact information for each consortium member entity.
All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to 10 percent of the total bid amount, payable to Lower Makefield Township. The successful bidder must provide each agency with a performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of their individual contract value within twenty days of contract award. The consortium members collectively maintain over 200 individual fuel storage tanks across multiple municipalities and special districts, with tank sizes ranging from 40 gallons to 15,000 gallons, accommodating diverse fuel delivery requirements for municipal operations, emergency services, water and sewer infrastructure, and public works departments throughout the region.
