About this file

This document contains the City of Charlotte Procurement Portal Instructions, providing detailed guidance for vendors submitting proposals through the Bonfire electronic procurement platform. The instructions specify that all solicitation questions and submissions must be submitted electronically via https://charlottenc.bonfirehub.com, with vendors strongly advised to begin the upload process at least a week before the project's posted deadline to accommodate potential file transfer delays.

The document outlines technical requirements for submission, including compatible web browsers (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox) with JavaScript and browser cookies enabled. Support resources are provided, including a vendor support help forum, contact email (Support@GoBonfire.com), and a support phone number (1-800-354-8010). A five-minute training video is recommended to help vendors understand the registration and submission process on the Bonfire platform.
