About this vehicle
The New York State Equipment Maintenance Program (EMP) provides a comprehensive statewide contract for corrective and preventative maintenance services across various equipment types. Designed to replace individual, often expensive maintenance agreements, the EMP enables authorized users to consolidate maintenance services under a single, flexible contract. The program covers multiple equipment classifications (78, 80, and 84) and offers customizable coverage options, allowing state agencies and authorized entities to streamline their equipment maintenance strategies while potentially reducing overall maintenance costs.
The master contract is administered by the New York State Office of General Services (OGS) and was awarded to The REMI Group LLC, with a contract period from February 23, 2021, through February 22, 2026. The contract applies to all state and non-state agencies within New York, providing a statewide service vehicle for maintenance and repair services. To promote diversity in procurement, the contract includes specific participation goals of 15% for Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBE) and 15% for Women-owned Business Enterprises (WBE), with no specific goals for Service-Disabled Veteran-owned Businesses (SDVOB).
Under this IDV (PS69214 (The REMI Group LLC)), authorized users can access maintenance services through two primary methods: REMI's Dispatch Service Center or direct contact with a service provider. The contract offers comprehensive features including 24-hour consultation, total lifecycle management, loss control services, and program training. While specific individual award values are not detailed, the contract provides a standardized approach to equipment maintenance with real-time online reporting tools, data capture services, and strategic maintenance oversight designed to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifecycles.
Description
This Contract allows State Agencies and all entities authorized by law (Authorized Users) to procure Equipment Maintenance Program ("EMP") corrective and preventative maintenance services. The EMP provides maintenance and service coverage on various types of equipment. Typically, this coverage is provided through various maintenance and service agreements often entered into independently by Authorized Users.
The EMP covers the full cost of maintenance and repair and shall replace more expensive individual maintenance and service agreements. Under the EMP Authorized Users can consolidate the maintenance of multiple equipment types under one agreement with the flexibility to customize equipment coverage. This Award has 15% MBE, 15% WBE and 0% SDVOB goal requirements.
