Mobile secure on-site shredding services

The Florida Master Agreement E0063 is an Indefinite Delivery Vehicle (IDV) focused exclusively on mobile onsite shredding services for sensitive and confidential information. The contract enables state and local government entities to procure secure document destruction services, with specific provisions for handling, processing, and certifying the elimination of confidential materials. Services include both scheduled and on-demand shredding, with contractors required to provide uniformed and bonded personnel, secure shredding vehicles, and maintain strict confidentiality protocols throughout the document destruction process.

The IDV was awarded by the Florida Department of Revenue and held by A Shred Ahead (DBA for AllShred, Inc.) with a performance period from April 1, 2014 through March 31, 2017. The contract covered multiple Florida counties, with pricing structured between $0.04 to $0.20 per pound and a 500-pound minimum charge per trip. Although the contract was ultimately terminated upon contractor request, it established comprehensive guidelines for secure document management, including requirements for criminal history background checks and compliance with federal and state information security regulations.
