RR signals-PE/instal

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Master Agreement ASF51 is an Indefinite Delivery Vehicle (IDV) focused on railroad infrastructure improvements and signal system upgrades. The contract encompasses critical transportation infrastructure projects, specifically targeting grade crossing protective devices, signal installations, and related railroad safety enhancements. Key services include upgrading railroad signals, installing pedestrian gates, adding cantilevers, implementing new electronics houses, and conducting comprehensive signal system improvements at railroad crossings throughout Florida.

The master agreement is awarded to HDR Construction Control Corporation and covers the period from September 13, 2019, to December 31, 2050. As a master agreement contract type, it provides FDOT with flexible procurement options for transportation infrastructure projects across the state. The contract's total authorized project cost for specific initiatives, such as the SR 674/College Ave project in Hillsborough County, can reach significant amounts like $228,133.00. The IDV requires contractors to comply with employment verification protocols, including use of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system, and operates exclusively within Florida's state jurisdiction.
