Owens & Minor Distribution Inc., operating as Om Healthcare Solutions Main Street, has been awarded a $4,999,999 Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to provide a wide range of medical and surgical supplies to support U.S. military healthcare operations and readiness. The contract, which does not have a set-aside designation, covers a diverse array of products including wound care items, patient apparel, surgical instruments, intravenous therapy supplies, personal protective equipment, and diagnostic equipment.
Through this IDC, the DLA can issue firm fixed-price delivery orders against Owens & Minor's catalog over a five-year period ending in August 2027. The contract supports the DLA's Strategic Programs for Expeditionary, Contingency, and Humanitarian Operations (SPE2CH) initiative, with a focus on supplying medical commodities for the Tactical Radio Over-the-Horizon Relay (TRBO) program and Region 3 operations. Owens & Minor will leverage its distribution center in Mechanicsville, Virginia to efficiently fulfill these orders and deliver critical healthcare supplies to various government agencies and military medical facilities across the country.
