The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Ogden Air Logistics Complex awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to Applied Systems Engineering Inc. (ASE), a small business manufacturer of microwave amplifiers, transmitters, and other electronic components. The $9,000,000 IDIQ contract allows for the issuance of firm fixed-price delivery orders for the repair of transmitters, radars, and related electronic components in support of the Joint Threat Emitter (JTE), Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR), and Mini-MUTES programs over a five-year period.
Under this IDIQ, the agency has awarded multiple delivery orders to ASE for repair services on various transmitter and electronic subassemblies, valued at over $2 million to date. The repairs are in support of the 415th Surveillance and Control Maintenance Squadron (415 SCMS) and Global Unmanned Aerial System Expeditionary Test Site (GUMAA UMTE) program. The contracted work will be performed at ASE's facility in Benbrook, Texas. ASE has additional IDIQ contracts with the Naval Sea Systems Command for the repair and procurement of spare parts for high voltage power supply modulators. These IDIQ vehicles enable ASE to provide ongoing support and services to critical defense electronics programs as needed by the respective agencies.
