About this IDV

The Department of State Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs has awarded an Indefinite Delivery Contract to AIA Company LIMITED Beijing Branch, valued at approximately $5.6 million, to provide life and health insurance services for law enforcement staff in China through January 2024. The Bureau has also issued several firm fixed price delivery orders under this contract vehicle, ranging in value from $15,000 to over $770,000, to procure insurance coverage for locally employed staff as well as U.S. personnel stationed in China. These services support the Bureau's mission to develop, coordinate, and implement U.S. foreign policy in the East Asia and Pacific region. The delivery orders do not contain any set-aside designations and will be performed entirely within China over 6-12 month periods of performance. The insurance products and services acquired under this contract appear to be essential to enabling the Bureau's diplomatic relations and foreign policy objectives in the region.
