About this award
The Department of Housing and Urban Development awarded $285,152 to the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities on October 1, 2025, under the Continuum of Care Program (CFDA 14.267) to support rapid rehousing for homeless young adults in the Boston CoC YHDP region.
The award funds rapid rehousing assistance that helps homeless individuals ages 18-24 obtain stable housing through supportive services. Performance runs through September 30, 2026, with work performed in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities, a state-level housing authority, administers the award as the recipient and passes funding through to two sub-recipients. Wayside Youth and Family Support Network, Inc. delivers rapid rehousing supportive housing services for homeless young adults ages 18-24 in the Boston CoC YHDP region. Respond, Inc. provides parallel rapid rehousing assistance for the same population and geography. Both sub-awards are dated October 1, 2025, and aligned with the parent award's performance period.
The Continuum of Care Program is designed to promote community-wide commitment to ending homelessness, provide funding to nonprofit providers and local governments to quickly house homeless individuals and families, and optimize self-sufficiency. The Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) within the larger COC structure supports coordinated community approaches to preventing and ending youth homelessness.
