The Department of Housing and Urban Development awarded the City of Quincy $3,385,210 on June 1, 2026, under the Continuum of Care Program (CFDA 14.267) to support homelessness prevention and housing services. The award funds eligible costs to establish and operate projects across five program components: permanent housing (including permanent supportive housing for persons with disabilities and rapid rehousing), transitional housing, supportive services only, Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS), and homelessness prevention. Funded activities also encompass COC planning costs, United Funding Agency costs for fiscal control and accounting, acquisition and rehabilitation of real property for housing or supportive services, and new construction.
