With the support of funding opportunity TI-21-001, mission possible will implement the proposed project titled "central colorado tree: treatment and recovery and enhancement and expansion." this project will enhance and expand youth treatment and recovery services in a 6-county region of central colorado that includes the urban area of colorado springs in EL paso county and the surrounding rural and frontier counties (teller, fremont, custer, park, and chaffee counties). The population of focus is youth ages 12 to 25 with a substance use disorder (SUD) including those with a CO-occurring mental health disorder (COD). The three major goals of this project are as follows: 1) expand high-fidelity wraparound and care coordination to more youth, including transition-age youth unto age 25; 2) enhance treatment and recovery services for you youth ages 12-25 with SUD by providing youth and families with peer support to increase engagement in services and support recovery; and 3) increase access to an array of evidenced-based and promising treatment and recovery services that are data-driven, trauma-informed, and culturally-responsive.
