This Project Grant funds technical assistance and business development services to support small and emerging agricultural enterprises in rural New York communities, with particular focus on the Delaware, Schoharie, and Otsego County regions.

Under this award, CADE delivers comprehensive business development and entrepreneurship services including entrepreneurship skills training, business advisory and technical assistance, agricultural training programs, beginning farmer support, business development workshops, financial planning services, product development guidance, and market research and expansion facilitation. These services are designed to support small businesses and agricultural entrepreneurs with fewer than 50 new employees and less than $1 million in projected gross revenue, consistent with the Rural Business Development Grant program's objective to promote sustainable economic development and job creation in rural communities.
