Description
The museum's initiative comes in response to a survey in which community members expressed a strong need for free access due to financial hardships during the covid-19 pandemic. The children's museum, with its many community partners, hosts programs related to cultural connectedness, health and wellbeing, and steam (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math). The museum will make its new programming and free monthly admission available to families and children of all ages, including low-income and economically disadvantaged families. The museum hopes to reach more than 3,000 individuals through this effort, which IT will track through its admissions software.
