Description

The covid-19 pandemic exacerbated this issue for many residents of the county's most economically disadvantaged neighborhoods, with decreased legal services available just as legal problems saw an uptick. At public library branches in two of those neighborhoods, visiting law librarians will provide patrons with legal research help and referrals to legal services. The library also will provide access to legal research databases. In addition, the library will hire three part-time reference librarians to assist patrons with specific legal issues.
